Hello from Texas! Yesterday we taught at Garden Oaks Elementary in Houston Texas, bringing the number of children/young adults, that we’ve taught since June to over 1000. It has been an amazing journey through summer camps, elemenatary schools, middle schools, and universities. We have learned much along the way, from students in a wide variety of socio-economic groups, local activists, and farmers of different styles and many different climates. Our teaching techniques have been refined, and we feel very pleased by the overwhelming positive feedback we’ve heard from students and educators.

We did an epic harvest from our truck today in Austin, and made the most legendary omelettes to power us up for tomorrows trek through the desert lands of the southwest.

With our last school of this tour happening yesterday, we are heading towards the setting sun, and a strong 2012 tour starting in California! More to come soon!
